I am including this old work of mine in the archives because I have a tendency to feature knights as a running gag in my comics, and I felt it is REALLY IMPORTANT that I show everyone how this got started.

Drawn sometime during the 1st Quarter of '93, and originally done for a high school English assignment, this comic is based on "The Tale of Sir Lancelot du Lake", of which there is more than one version. In it, our hero... who is either traveling alone or accompanied by his nephew, is out seeking adventure when he gets captured by Morgan le Fay and two or three other witchy women, who all basically want his penis. He gets rescued by a mysterious woman, on the condition that he helps her father (either King Bagdemagus or King Leodegrance) win a jousting tournament. And naturally, Launcelot, being the top badass knight, won in spades (sometimes with the help of Arthur and the Round Table knights). In the version of the story I read, Lance was also after a knight called Tarquin, and the King helped him locate the knight in return for his aid. Lance then defeated the knight and moved on toward further adventures.

That's really all you need to know for this one. Well, also, I couldn't really draw pecs at the time, and it looks like Lance is on hormones, but other then that, here you go. Enjoy this oldie.
